JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide support for various financial reports, reconciliation, validation, analyses and initiatives for GFS office using SunSystems, INFOR Q&A, PowerBI and other available reporting tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform validation of data uploaded in OLAP Cubes in coordination with the data warehouse administrator.
Do detailed validation to standardize the account & transaction codes used by the Field Offices in their database.
Produce detailed work and scorecards on project-related reports and compliance and documentation of issues.
Provide validation and reconciliation of issues/discrepancies in various analyses.
Maximize the use of Sunsystems, PowerBI and other tools in the handled processes and reports.
Perform Cost Allocation on behalf of Field Offices.
Support Offices as needed on the technical related inquiries.
Document results of gathered information and consolidation and analyses for further enhancement and future project of GFS.
Serve as backup for the AFA - FO Reporting and Compliance especially on the tasks involving desk review/scorecard and template support.
Other tasks deemed necessary in the fulfillment of the objectives of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting
Has knowledge and experience in all areas of finance and accounting
Excellent multi-tasking and organization aptitudes.
Competent on financial reporting and analysis
Has sufficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and has the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages like OLAP, PMQA, PowerPivot, PowerBI etc.
Preferred:
Minimum 2 years of experience preferably in an international NGO environment or the like
Can thrive in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment.
