Job Description
As an Assistant Asset Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our client's organization. Your responsibilities will encompass several key areas. Firstly, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and processing of purchase orders and sales invoices for assets, ensuring accurate and transparent financial records. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating monthly reports that detail asset sales and purchases, providing valuable insights into our client's asset management.

Employment type: Full-time
Shift: Day shift (7:00AM to 4:00PM); Mondays to Fridays
Work setup: Onsite, Ortigas
What do you need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a similar field, enabling eligibility for CPA or CAANZ.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of accounting software systems.
Understanding of the nature and accounting for assets.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Strong time management skills, task prioritization, and persistence to meet deadlines.
The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a variety of individuals.
A team mindset and the drive to actively participate in achieving the entitys goals and objectives.
What awaits you in this role
Prepare and process purchase orders and sales invoices for assets.
Generate monthly reports on asset sales and purchases.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, accounting for additions and disposals, and run monthly depreciation.
Perform monthly reconciliations of the Fixed Asset Register to the Netsuite general ledger.
Review, allocate, and approve invoices to be capitalized.
Execute monthly journal entries and reconcile the general ledger related to fixed assets.
Maintain records for fixed assets to facilitate financial statement preparation and auditor requirements.
Update assets in InspHire and reconcile assets between systems.
Maintain assets in the Personal Property Securities Register.
Collaborate closely with the fleet management team to provide timely financial information.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks related to asset management.
