About the role
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for assisting in and maintaining the accounting function for JordPhilippines by ensuring all accounts are maintained and statutory and tax requirements are met. They will also be responsible for various Jord Group tasks.
In addition, you'll be responsible for:
To assist in managing the accounting and reporting for JordPhilippines
To ensure all transactions and payments are processed and suppliers are paid in a timely manner, month end reporting is finalised by agreed deadlines, and assist in cost analysis for JordPhilippines·
To assist in the preparation and liaising of government requirements for JordPhilippines
To assist in ensuring corporate, tax and statutory requirements are met for JordPhilippines, Jord Korea, Jord Saudi and Jord Thailand
To assist in ensuring all intercompany invoices are done monthly
To assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation for Jord Group
To assist in various tasks to support the month end reporting of Jord Group
Who we're looking for
We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
At least three years of work experience in all accounting facets
Very good communication skills
Commitment and motivation to achieve deadlines
Possess a problem-solving attitude with high attention to detail
Good working exposure to excel, word, and powerpoint
Act with professionalism, business awareness and be a team player
Requires minimal supervision
Preferably living within or on nearby cities of Muntinlupa
