Responsibilities:
● Implement the online community moderation strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and providing superior quality of customer service and support to our community with the help of various communication tools (EG: slack, email forquizzes, etc)
● Review and moderate contributor network articles, liaising with the Legal and editorial teamswhere required
● Use guidelines and critical thinking skills to identify local, evergreen, and other content topics as necessary
● Manage the contributor operations emails, and track communications
● Maintain article and video moderation playbook standards and assist on updates where
required (where there are gaps between policy and implementation)
● Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring moderation volume, and analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of moderation policies through the QA process (teams)
● Regularly feedback insights gained from community moderation into the editorial team
● Availability to workdays, evenings, nights, as well as weekends as and when required
● Classification knowledge of media landscape and classifications of that content to apply codes to article sources.
● High news literacy and the ability to distinguish fact from opinion
● Follow standard operational procedures for escalation
● Article title reviews
