About the role: The Digital Art Director (AD) is a senior member of the Creatives team and is an active contributor to ideas and creative solutions. The ideal candidate comes from a creative/design background with experience in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering creative assets in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. As a creative lead, the AD is responsible for taking briefs and leading a team of designers and copywriters to come up with idea-led creative solutions. The AD collaborates with accounts and project management on resourcing, timeline planning, and creative quality assurance for multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be up-to-date working with all forms of digital mediums from social, digital display, mobile, and .com,and be able to deliver on multiple projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops concepts and collaborates with the production team as needed.\
Lead the design efforts for digital deliverables ranging from eDMs, social media assets, and standard and Rich Media Flash/HTML banners to web content platforms and campaign microsites
Works productively and harmoniously as a teammate with Copywriters, Designers, and Creative Operations Managers who share the responsibility on the given assignment.
Collaborate with Copywriter and other Designers in conceptualizing and ideation.
Presents concepts to other departments if necessary and revises them according to comments.
Updates recommendations based on any client comments and shares approved recommendations with all departments.
Give input on scanned images for high resolution and retouching.
Meets with the project manager to review work in progress and select desired concepts.
Required Skills
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a digital advertising agency
Minimum of 1 year as Art Director. Must have excellent ability to art direct idea-driven digital creative work.
Has a strong grasp of current digital mediums from social, digital display, and .com platforms
Highly skilled with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Must submit a copy or link to the portfolio of related creative work
