Job Description
MultiplyMii is in search of an AR-General Accountant that will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, bookkeeping in Xero, and reporting and budgeting financial transactions every period. This position is a supervisory role and would include working with and overseeing the tasks of an AP and Payroll Specialist.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable
English communication in written and verbal form.
This role is 100% remote work.
In this role you will:
Create and send all invoices, which requires working with the Sales and Recruitment team to understand the details and schedule for each invoice.
Address and resolve any client queries with regard to invoicing concerns and escalate as necessary
Record and account for all financial transactions to ensure everything is accurately and completely recorded in Xero.
Work with the sales and marketing teams to establish short-mid term projections that will be the basis of the targets we set for the Sales, Marketing, Recruitment, and Onboarding teams.
Work directly with the leadership team to establish department budgets based on the projections and growth targets.
Create weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to give visibility to the leadership team over the financial performance of the business. Includes presenting to the team in the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review presentations.
Prepare and analyze AR Aging reports and spearhead communication with clients from different nationalities to ensure all outstanding invoices are dealt with and escalated when necessary;
Prepare periodic account reconciliations, i.e., AR and bank reconciliations, to ensure all accounts in Xero are accurately balanced.
Prepare month-end closing procedures to keep accounting data organized and to ensure all transactions for the monthly period were accounted for.
Oversee expense reports and cash outflow reports done by the AP and Payroll Specialist for planning and budgeting purposes and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant
Must have experience working with Xero
2+ years of supervisory experience working in Finance and Accounting
Experience working in the BPO industry is preferred
Experience working for a Startup/Small Business is a Big Plus, particularly designing and improving financial workflows
Expert proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Can work under pressure and has the ability to meet deadlines.
Has excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
