Application Solutions Senior Specialist - Monitoring SUMMARY OF ROLE The position will be responsible in making sure that the application is available to all supported users in the organization during the required hours of operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work on Level III escalated cases for deep-dive investigation, resolution or proper endorsement to Product owners. Resolve issues through metadata updates or code changes; otherwise, send to platform or API QA. Support development and optimization of projects tracked in JIRA on Kanban board. Coordinates building knowledge library from all teams (Platform, API, UI). Participate in product and knowledge trainings, and realignment meetings to enhance and further develop technical skills needed to maintain an understanding and expertise in the functionalities of Digital Application and how it is used within the organization. Collaborate with various business segments within the organization about process streamlining which involves Monitoring Platform. Perform Ad Hoc tasks as provided by management. Attends and participates in meetings as required. RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other IT related courses or, similar working experience in the related field. Experience in developing and/or supporting software systems, relational (MSSQL) and NoSQL database. Knowledge of AWS cloud supported programming languages like Java, Node.JS Knowledge of AWS EC2, Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, CloudFormation Working knowledge of .NET languages (ASP, VB, C#), preferable. Knowledge of Kafka or other leading cloud-based messaging system, a plus. Customer focused attitude with ability to ask pertinent questions to understand the root cause of the issues and identify the business impact to drive priority and response plan. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong prioritization and multitasking skills OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION Candidate must be willing to work in Laguna Technopark, Binan Laguna Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays) Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region
