Work with the team to think critically and conduct important investigations which impact safety, deliver key strategic safety projects and initiatives and also manage sensitive escalations within the access safety world.
Manage a team of other Community Operations Specialists to ensure reliable operations and robust performance management
Provide oversight for escalated requests across all our critical and advanced lines of business, challenging yourself and your team to solve the most complicated and interesting problems our users face
Liaise with the leadership team members as we resolve business-critical issues and make difficult decisions that impact our local operations
Assist in projects that aim to improve the quality of support we provide all users of Uber, as part of Community Operations
Lead internal operational work streams, including analytics and reporting, quality assurance, training and development, and administration
---- Basic Qualifications ----
Bachelor's degree
5 years total work experience in high-growth, productive, constantly-changing environments
Work experience in other customer-centric industries (ex. Hotels, airlines, F&B, etc.)

Extensive experience dealing with different markets (countries) and excellent understanding of cultural differences
Ability to think out of the box to create unique and sustainable solutions to unique problems
Critical thinker, able to see potential issues as they arise, mitigate these before they become bigger
Quick to adapt and adjust to changes in the work structure as stakeholders present new businesses or tasks to work on
Organized and process oriented - able to create processes where they don't exist
