Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
Creating and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and advancing product quality
Performing root cause analysis of software issues and improving application performance
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Participate in peer code reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
Minimum of 4 years experience in Java
At least 2 years experience in native Android development with Android SDK and application components such as Layouts, Fragments, Activities, Intents, Action bar menus, Resources, Manifest file and APK generation
Extensive experience in creating rigorous tests for Android applications
Background in working with JSON, XML, Web-services such HTTP, REST, XHR requests and Android Studio
Implementation of front end design for Android application(s)
Experience on Hybrid Application development using PhoneGap or Appcelerator is a plus
