Job Description:
ANALYST PROGRAMMER

Main Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis on Business Requirements and prepares program specifications at the systems level for simple to minor systems or modules
Develop or maintain, test and implement modules according to system specifications. Identify all possible scenarios and prepares tests for the systems under development.
Provides post-implementation and production support for systems including analysis of production problems.
Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users.
In charge of a system module. Identifies areas for improvement /enhancement on existing system module or on the entire system, and on new ones being developed.
Determines, analyzes, and transforms business requirements to produce design specifications at the system and programming levels.
Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule.
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
Follow and implement industry-accepted best practices (coding standards, security, etc) and tools (GIT, VSCode, Jenkins, Jira, other DevOps tools)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder
Expertise in at least 1 and knowledgeable in the following areas
Mobile Development (For Frontend developer)
Web Application/Portal Development (For Frontend developer)
Web Services (For backend developer)
Agile delivery experience
2 years or more in the following technologies:
Frontend (Mobile UI) - React, Angular 8 and up, Ionic 5 and up, Typescript, HTML/CSS, IBM MFP optional
Backend - Java, J2EE, IBM WAS, Oracle SQL, API and web services
Analysis & design, with testing experience
Experience in managing multiple resources/developers
Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience working in cross functional environment
Knowledge in Source Code Control procedures
Knowledge/experience in Release Management practices
Knowledge/experience in Configuration Management practices
Other technologies (optional)
Apache CXF, Spring Framework, Hibernate / JPA, Jackson / JSON Processor, Microservices Architecture, Swagger / API Documentation Framework, Docker, Bean Validation, Unit Testing
