Provide support to the team for Canadian reporting processes, which includes:- IFRS17 liability modelling- preparation of the reports for the non-model related IFRS17 liabilities- preparation of the report for Life Capital Adequacy Testing (LICAT) submission- analysis for the consistency and reasonableness of the market and insurance sensitivity testing for disclosure requirements- New product implementation and model setup- Execution of assumption changes in the model2. Conduct model validation exercises in accordance with established EUC guidelines3. Participate in ad-hoc projects depending on business needs such as but not limited to:- support on the stochastic asset modelling using actuarial software- support on the semi-annual business plan financial projections- support on the annual scenario testing submission to the regulator.Qualifications
University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background
With at least 4 years of Actuarial related experience
Strong knowledge and experience in handling any Actuarial modelling software, preferably AXIS
With at least 2 Actuarial exams passed
Strong Knowledge in the use of MS Office application
