Uber's Finance Operations is comprised of core finance functions including Payroll, T&E, AP, Strategic Sourcing and AR, and Uber Freight's Finance Operations. As the Uber Freight finance operations team is growing in Manila, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager, who is a hands-on, detail-oriented leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves while also driving continuous process improvements that improve internal and external customer experience.
This role's responsibility is to provide leadership, direction, and overall process management with emphasis on Billing, Cash Application, and Credit processes.
What You'll Do
Evaluate levels of process and BPO efficiency and works with the GPO to build and collaborate on the execution of improvement action plans.
Have strong attention to detail, work ethic, and passionate about delivering a quality output.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the application of basic principles and practices related to quality control, automation, and process improvement. Tracks KPI to ensure process efficiency and report deviations, and propose solutions
Execute a qualitative and quantitative strategy for improving overall quality performance, mitigating operational risk, and proactively identifying trends.
Worked on continuous improvements in the Accounts Receivables area
Drive resolution of billing and other AR issues in partnership with GPO, other internal stakeholders, and BPO partners.
Continually seek opportunities to optimize and reduce operating costs
Basic Qualifications
Someone who has experience working in a shared services environment or leading a large BPO support team.
5 years of prior management or team leader experience
Knowledge of Logistic Management, Billing, Credit & Collection, and Account Receivables.
Knowledge of Google Suite, Advanced Excel, SQL and Tableau.
Bachelor Degree Graduates would be nice if Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting with proven experience.
Amenable to shifting schedules as the operation is 24/7 depending on the business needs from different regions - APAC, EMEA, LatAm, and US&C.
Preferred Qualifications
Freight/Transportation/Logistics background is a plus.
