About the Role
We are looking for someone who has prior experience as Auditor. As a person, you must be someone who has a high level of personal maturity and a can-do attitude. As this work entails exposure to numbers day in and out, you must be motivated, methodical, and accurate.
Day to Day
Assisting the Audit team with the preparation of statutory financial statements for a wide range of companies and groups, including liaising with clients on the information required.
Maintaining and assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements.
Providing a high caliber of statutory financial statements using accounts production software.
Checking the accuracy of disclosures in the statutory financial statements.
Working with other departments to provide iXBRL tagging of those statutory financial statements for submission to HMRC and submission to Companies House.
Preparation of P&L statement report and IFRS accounts.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential.
AAT qualification or qualification by experience required would be considered part-qualified.
Working knowledge of statutory financial statements and their layouts etc.
Ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to use initiative with strong organisational skills.
Good communicator and ability to work closely with colleagues and other departments.
A high level of computer literacy - with experience in Digital Accounts Production Advanced would be preferred (full training will be provided).
