What you'll do
Invoice processing & verification: Receive, match, and verify vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
Payment management: Review bi-weekly AP sub-ledger, prepare weekly disbursement reports, and manage the timely processing of payables.
Vendor relations: Maintain accurate vendor records, respond to inquiries professionally, and resolve issues promptly.
Compliance & documentation: Oversee business license registrations/renewals and support tax compliance (Forms 1099, state filings).
Reporting & analysis: Prepare AP aging reports, assist with month-end close, accruals, and other financial reporting needs.
Process improvement: Recommend and implement best practices to strengthen internal controls and enhance efficiency.
What you'll bring
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
Knowledge of accounting internal controls and compliance practices.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing workflows.
