Job Responsibilities:
· Abide by the rules and regulations of the company
· Follow instructions from immediate superior and management according to the norms of the company
· Willing to work in other areas of the accounting if necessary
· Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment
· Audit and process all billing statement
· Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly
· Respond to all vendor inquiries
· Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
· Assist in month-end closing
· Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, following company policy and accepted accounting practices
· Process payments and other payables
· Prepares and process the remittances to the concerned government agencies
o BIR
o SSS
o PHILHEALTH
o PAG-IBIG FUND
· Prepares withholding tax certificates
· Alpha lists for the BIR
· Computation of the annual tax refund
· Process the payment for sickness benefit and maternity benefit of employees
· Prepares APV and Check Vouchers for all disbursements.
· Releases checks to suppliers and others.
· Prepares Petty Cash Replenishment and Cash Advance Liquidation
· Accounts Payable Aging Report
· Assist with other projects as needed
· Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
· Required language(s): English, Filipino
· At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Preferably 1-4 years experience specialized in Accounts Payable or equivalent.
· Required Skill(s): Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills, organizational, time management, strong work ethics, record keeping, and confidentiality.
· Licensed is not required but is an advantage.
· Experience in Pharmaceutical setup is also an advantage.
· Amenable to work in Parañaque City
