The Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable will be responsible to the end to end AP process of the finance team, but not limited to the following:
Responsible for all accounting work that are needed to make sure accounts payable are processed in an efficient and timely manner
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
Prepare and manage all invoices daily and send it for approval.
Codes invoices with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
Take care of all vendor correspondence via email or phone, evaluating and reconciling all vendor statements.
Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices.
Manage and verify all expense reports, ensuring their compliance with company policies
Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
Maintain and update all accounts payable data, as well as ensure accuracy in general ledgers.
Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
Evaluate all account payable balance and resolve all unpaid invoices issues.
Evaluate and reconcile all vendor statements and manage all inquiries.
Perform other duties that are needed to support the accounting department.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate preferably a CPA with at least 5 years of experience in BPO or Shared Service Industry
Experience with end to en process of Accounts Payable
Subject Matter Expert for Concur system; experience working with Concur is required.
Knowledgeable with IFRS and US GAAP
Willing to work on a fixed night shift
Willing to work in a WFH set-up
