Job Description
Job Objective:
The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for the timely processing of payable related requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and payment to vendors for posted transactions. The role also includes assistance in providing required documents during audit period.
Job Description:
>Checks and verifies accounts payable documents for authenticity, completeness and accuracy
>Maintains disbursement register log of the company and its affiliates
>Prepares check vouchers and check other bank forms including deposit or payment slip if needed;
>Attends to supplier's payment concerns, clarification and reconciliation;
>Prepares certificate of expanded tax withheld (BIR 2307) for suppliers
>Maintain internal control and accounting systems and continuously recommends solutions or improvements in related accounting procedures
>To perform other function as deemed necessary by your immediate superior of the management in relation to your function
Job Qualifications
Job Qualification:
>Graduate of Accountancy
>With enough understanding of Accounting concepts to properly code expenses
>With initiative, can work on minimal supervision; is a team player;
>Keen on details and has an excellent time management
>Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel;
>Experience in using Accounting Software is an advantage
