Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of Accounts Payable Management including processing, tracking, and managing payments. They will work closely with the Disbursement Assurance Lead to ensure that all disbursements are compliant with company policies and procedures and all financial data is recorded accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable transactions
Verify and reconcile invoices and ensure proper coding and approval
Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies
Manage payment schedules and ensure timely payment processing
Monitor and maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable transactions
Prepare and process wire transfers and check payments
Collaborate with the Disbursement Assurance Lead to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide support in month-end and year-end closing processes as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload effectively
Detail-oriented and with high level of accuracy in data entry
Experience in using accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP is preferred
