The ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST will be mainly responsible for the audit of supplier claims, as well as, timeliness and accuracy in the recognition of company expenses.
Audits and verifies invoices, purchase orders and expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance to expense approval process and completeness of supporting documents prior to recording into the system
Ensures that VAT and withholding tax are properly recognized
Ensures all expenses are booked in the accurately in the correct accounting period
Performs month-end accounting procedures
Perform month reconciliation of AP accounts to ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately. Research and resolve any issues identified.
Sends out confirmation letters to suppliers on a quarterly basis
Ensures all accounting records and supporting documents related to this role are maintained in accordance with Legal requirements and company record retention policy
Prepares monthly OPEX report and assist in the OPEX variance analysis
Monitors payable deferral period
Records periodic depreciation of assets, sales and retirement
Monitors assets under construction and for acquisition and processes capitalization to fixed asset
If you possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or its equivalent with at least three (3) years experience of the job requirement, you may apply to this position.
