Accounts Payable analyst- onsite shawIBEX Global Solutions

Responsibilities:
Set up new vendors in our P2P system, ensuring complete and accurate entry of vendor data with proper approvals (New Vendor Creation).
Maintain the ongoing completeness and accuracy of our vendor data, including ad-hoc changes and periodic review (Vendor Master File maintenance).
Periodic review of vendor data will additionally involve assessing which vendors should be deactivated timely from the P2P system.
Ensure vendor compliance with company standards.
Management of our employee expense approval process (i.e., travel, meals, entertainment, etc.). This will involve ensuring that all expenses submitted by employees comply with Company policy and are properly reviewed and approved.
Support special projects as needed.
Education/Experience Required
BA or BS degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
3+ Years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
Moderate Excel skills required.
Working knowledge of large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or automated Accounts Payable / Expense Management systems. Experience with Oracle, SAP, and/or JDE is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with managing efficient processes with internal employees, third parties, and key stakeholders.
Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.
Must take accountability and responsibility for your actions.
