Accounts Payable Accountant main responsibility is to process all valid obligations and authorized expenditures of the company within and in accordance with the applicable standards for each type of transaction.
Ensure payments are completed and expenses are controlled by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices/ requests according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Match purchase orders to invoices and prepare accounts payable vouchers (APV) into the accounting system.
Process cash advance, reimbursements, replenishments and liquidations of all business units of BIVMC.
Record utility expense of plants/stores and labor cost from manpower agencies.
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports for advances, liquidations and reimbursements.
Issue BIR form 2307.
Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function such as AP Vouchers in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
Pay into the system the approved checks for clearing purposes.
Other functions assigned by Payables Accounting Section Head.
