Accounts Payable Accountant
Job Overview:
Accounts Payable Accountant role involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role is very vital to the Accounting Team. The role of the AP is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. AP specialist highlights the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. This role directly reports to the Accounting Manager.
Duties and Responsibilties:
-Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
-Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
-Maintaining historical records
-Voucher and Check Preparation
-Must have a good knowledge in taxation such as VAT Relief; Alphalist & EFPS
-Releasing of check payments to all suppliers / employee's checks; pay in SAP
-Replying to all vendor inquiries
-Monthly Reconciliation of suppliers' accounts or Accounts Payable transactions
-Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
-Monthly clearing of accounts in SAP
-Monthly accruals of expense
-Continuing to improve the payment process
-Book writing
-Scan documents & attach to SAP for documentation
-Quarterly check series
-Review of Purchases for the month
-Prepare SAP monthly depreciation
-Perform additional duties as requested by a manager
