Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
At least two (2) years of Accounting and Finance work
Must have excellent computer literacy and learning speed to use automated accounting system
Must be able to maintain work ethics under pressure and adhere to set deadlines
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products and other relevant computer applications
Duties and Responsibilities
Shall include but not limited to:
Reimbursements and Liquidations
Receive employee's reimbursement and/or liquidation report for payment
Verify if transactions and documents comply with financial policies and procedures and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations
Ensure that all reimbursement and/or liquidation report are properly authorized prior to being processed
Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
Record transactions in the accounting system
Print Accounts Payable Vouchers and attach all supporting documentation
Prepare Reimbursement and Liquidation Summaries for weekly payment request submission
Inform employees of the approved and paid reimbursements
Monitor and prepare the monthly outstanding reimbursement and/or liquidation report
Third Party Transactions
Receive third party documents for payment, such as but no limited to invoices, delivery receipts and statement of accounts
Verify if third party documents are in accordance with the approved Purchase Order, signed Contract/Agreement, and/or Purchase Requisition
Verify if transactions and documents comply with financial policies and procedures and BIR regulations
Ensure all invoices are properly authorized prior to being processed
Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
Record transactions in the accounting system
Print Accounts Payable Vouchers and attach all supporting documentation
Others
Assist in month-end financial closing of accounts
Maintain records and schedules of all liabilities
Assists in the preparation of year-end audit files
