JOB DETAILS
Qualification required/desired:
The responsibilities, although not limited to, will include:
Performance of full Accounts Payable and Receivable function:
Accurate data entry and processing of invoices, credits and receipts within Xero accounting program.
Liase with wholesale customers to ensure receivables are collected in a timely manner.
Bank Statement Reconciliation:
Conduct daily reconciliation of bank statements within Xero to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Transaction Analysis & GL Account Reconciliation:
Analyze and categorize financial transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment within Xero.
Perform various Balance Sheet Account reconciliations as requested by the Financial Accountant - including credit cards and ad hoc balance sheet accounts etc
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
Prepare detailed documentation supporting reconciliation activities.
Communication and Collaboration:
Provide key support to the Financial Accountant and Finance Manager.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial data.
Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including banks and auditors.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience in bank reconciliation within an Australian business context.
Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) & Reporting (VLOOKUP etc.)
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills with ability to multitask effectively, manage timelines and meet deadlines.
• Has strong attention to details
• Has the ability to seek advice and accept feedback.
• Has an inquisitive mind, ability to solve problems and suggest appropriate solutions
• Sound business acumen, highly numerate, with excellent planning & analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (be able to interact directly with the client)
Work Location / Working shifts:
Ortigas, Pasig City / Hybrid/ Australian Business Hours (3x a week onsite)
