Synopsis of Role
Responsible for leading the billing and collections team collaborating across the organization in establishing standards and policies, and operating processes to ensure effective and efficient collection of the Company's receivables.
Essential Functions
Posts billing and collection related transactions in accounting system
Ensures timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of Revenue and AR
Provides various analyses regarding Revenue, Collection and AR as needed
Ensures that Billing and Collection processes are performed using best practices with adequate internal controls, and ensure payments comply with established policies
Oversees the development and maintenance of the client contract inventory
Assists in preparation of annual budgets
Provides excellent customer service by ensuring that all client inquiries are appropriately resolved on a timely basis
Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications
Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate and friendly manner, always maintaining the Golden Rule approach; practices patience and kindness
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Preferred Education and Experience
Any accounting related course
BS. Accountancy graduate, preferred but not required
With 2-3 years relevant experience
