Job Description
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Job Description:
Ensure that all government required reports and payments are properly and promptly submitted and paid.
Ensure that all expenditures are properly recorded.
Ensure that all intercompany charges are paid on time.
Ensure that project cost of new projects are monitored.
Review bank reconciliations.
Review intercompany reconciliations.
Review A/R recon - GL vs SL.
Review weekly cash monitoring report (collection and disbursement).
Witness inventory count.
Conduct quarterly cash count.
Observe timely and accurate monthly closing of books.
Review journal entries before they are actually encoded in the system.
Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a regular basis and review the following GL schedules and other statement analyses:
Accounts Payable
Prepare financial reports.
Prepare and review schedules (audit schedules, others)
Prepare Budgets.
Prepare monthly variance analysis
Supervise efficient performance of his/her accounting staff in the Accounting section if applicable;
Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
