1. Preparing and reviewing periodic and special reports for statutory and management.
2. Coordinating directly with the Senior Manager regarding the team's performance.
3. Supervising the works of subordinates consistent with assigned work duties and expected reports, and checking if assigned tasks are properly done and executed based on procedures and accounting policies.
4. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures related to accounting services and operations.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Prepares, reviews and analyzes, the gross margin report and all supporting schedules and related reports for both statutory and management, and the periodic reconciliation and maintenance of all assigned accounts.
2. Supervises the works of subordinates consistent with assigned work duties and expected reports, and checking if assigned tasks are properly done and executed based on the procedures and accounting policies.
3. Monitors, verifies, and approves within limit, transaction movements of all accounts of Inventory Team, journal entries of the reconciliation and accounting adjustments.
4. Provides and coordinates with the auditors, for the schedules of inventory accounts and other related accounts, and other audit requirements for external financial audit.
5. Collaborates with the team, other groups and departments, for any concerns, projects or initiatives.
6. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures related to accounting services and operations.
7. Files and maintains accounting records and reports of the Inventory Group.
8. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time. Job
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
At least 5 years of total experience in areas of Accounting; and at least 2 years of experience in handling accounting for inventory; and at least 2 years of experince handling a team with at least 5 members; and at least 1 year experience from auditing firms; and at least with knowledge in derivative transactions
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and principles
Knowledge in government regulations and laws applicable to accounting
Project management skills
Excellent skills in financial reporting for both statutory and management
Financial review and analysis skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain and discuss financial data with team members and various users of information
