We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong general accounting knowledge and relevant experience in performing accounting or bookkeeping function for a medium size company using manual or computerized Accounting system.
He/she must be well versed to the different accounting processes and have the critical thinking skills necessary to analyze different transactions.
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
· Proactive and results-driven
· Well-organized, self-starter & detail-oriented
· With strong organization and prioritization skills.
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Emphasis in accuracy and timeliness
· With ability to initiate and implement process improvements
KEY REQUIREMENT
· Preferably a Graduate of BS Accountancy or other Business/Finance course.
· With at least 1-2 years of work experience as an Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper or in other related field.
· Background in Sugar Trading operations and/or Logistics is an advantage.
