About The Role
The Accounting Specialist is mainly responsible in processing Accounts Payable and will also provide accounting support to various financial accounting areas.
Key Responsibilities
Process payment requests and checked for complete and correct documentations
Ensure that bills are settled timely and correct tax treatment is applied
Daily monitoring of cash position and that funds are available for payment of payables
Checking of cash advance liquidations
Filing and reporting to BIR of taxes withheld and value added tax
Reconcile assigned GL accounts
Assist with month-end closing and audit
Maintain files and documentations thoroughly as well as accurately
Other tasks that may be delegated or assigned from time to time
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's /College degree in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
At least 1 years of relevant experience
