Description
MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Accounting Specialist who will be working closely with our Hong Kong-based clients who specializes in Cryptocurrency. As a vital member of the team, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations and platforms by working with the stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Verification of trade details against trader instructions.
• Monitors and manages the progress of each trade to ensure trades settle efficiently and accurately through our operation platform or other external platforms.
• Monitors Cash Deposits received with Online Banking to ensure timely settlement.
• Monitors Client Withdrawal in operation platform and initiate payment through Online Banking.
• Daily communication with Traders to ensure timely receipt of deal confirmation and settlement.
• Ensures all work is carried out to agree with AMLC and Internal Company Controls and Policies, and the ability to challenge Control discrepancies.
• Preparation and completion of account reconciliations needed.
• Accurately records and updates trade details.
• Accurately records and updates bank records in our system.
• Management of reconciliations with emphasis on investigating and clearing break items.
• Timely resolution of queries from Finance and Operation both verbally and in writing professionally.
• Investigates and resolves issues logically and effectively.
To be successful, you should be:
• A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the Accounting field is required for this position.
• Solid experience with General Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Accounts Reconciliation.
• Demonstrates the ability to investigate and resolve issues logically and effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Previous experience working with foreign clients especially Chinese is a plus.
• Knowledge with cryptocurrency trading space and experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Amenable to work on a 24x7 schedule.
