1) Cost Control
1.1. Verify all RFPs before endorsing it for approval.
1.2. Ensure the RFP for change orders is supported by the appropriate PO.
1.3. Measure progress and performance to ensure that items are within the approved projected budget.
1.4. Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports per project detailing actual and forecasted expenditures with variance analysis.
1.5. Coordinate with project staff and accounting supervisor with regards to closure or completion of the contract to evaluate what went well in the project and identify failures, perform a final budget, and create a project report.
1.6. Coordinate with project staff and accounting officer to ensure that project cost report is accurate:
- Inventory reports
- Receipts
- Issuances
- Transfers
2.) Project Costing
2.1 Ensure proper recording and charging of job or project cost.
2.2 Monitor/update the supplier's ledger reflecting the details of approved contracts, purchase orders and check vouchers.
2.3 Maintain a monitoring file for each material cost per unit.
2.4 Maintain a monitoring file for unapplied contract-related costs such as items that are not chargeable to the project as they are incurred, yet are expenses that are related to overall project operation.
2.5 Maintain a monitoring Cash Flow report for each project.
2.6 Reveal any deviation (overage or underage) in terms of quantity and amount.
2.7 Participate in the opening of bid documents together with Accounting and Audit, if needed.
3) Budget Analysis
3.1 Maintain a monitoring budget report in which the project's general and administrative expenses are compared with actual costs as incurred.
3.2 Maintain a monitoring budget report in which all department general and administrative expenses are compared with actual costs as incurred.
3.3 Maintain a monitoring budget report in which all sales and marketing expenses are compared with actual costs as incurred.
3.4 Analyze and prepare a report it major variances between budget and actual expenses.
4) Others
4.1 Provide data for ABP presentation requirement of the Accounting Department.
4.2 Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the superior from time to
