Accounting ManagerFABULA CONSTRUCTION Corporation

I. Primary Purpose of the Position
The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring efficiency and compliance by monitoring accuracy of daily and monthly accounting reports. S/he is also responsible for auditing financial statements and bank reconciliation.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensures timely recording of all accounting transactions;
2. Ensures proper implementation of accounting policies, procedures and system related;
3. Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure;
4. Carries out financial auditing procedures;
5. Reviews and counter-checks finance related documents from Accounting staff before endorsing to Accounting Manager;
6. Generates and prepares billing statement for clients distribution, if needed;
7. Ensures accuracy and on-time submission of daily and monthly accounting reports;
8. Assists in the collection and follow up for main accounts with account deficiency;
9. Maintains accurate accounting and financial records of the organization; and
10. Performs other function-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
11. Observes compliance to defined company policies, procedures, guidelines, and drives continuous improvement; and

IV. Job Specification
a. Graduate of Business Administration Major in Accountancy, must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
b. With at least five (5) years' experience in general and financial accounting supervision
c. With at least two (3) years' experience in financial audit
d. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards and laws and regulations
e. Attention to detail and accuracy
f. Positive, can-do spirit, proactive, result-driven and resourceful
g. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints
