JOB DESCRIPTION
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Accounting Head is responsible in the accuracy and integrity of company's book of accounts and timely analyses of accounts, schedules, reports, reconciliations and financial statements in accordance with the accepted accounting principles and in compliance with the financial policies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Overall operations and management of the Accounting department
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs budget and forecasting activities.
• Responds to inquiries from the President on financial results and adhoc report request.
• Coordinate with the auditors (internal & external) to ensure a clean and timely yearend audit.
• Identify and implement work flow improvements to strengthen internal controls and improve work efficiency.
• Ensure timely reporting and review of all monthly financial information
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Checking of JV,CV, commission, & purchase orders
• Computation of employees' monthly incentives
• Posting of JV in the accounting system
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant
Minimum of 4 years experience as Accounting Head
