JOB DESCRIPTION:
Establishes inventory control system and standard product and raw material costing.
Reviews and analyses record of present and past operations trend and costs.
Recommends Improvement on the current system procedures related to Cost Accounting and inventory System.
Gives work directions, resolve problems, prepare work schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure completion of operating functions.
Reviews the following documents before submission to Plant Manager for approval: Cash voucher, Cash Advance Salary Deduction Form, Certification (Agency Payroll), Security Agency Monthly Billings.
Reviews reports submitted by Accounting Clerk.
Coordinates with Head Office Accounting all activities related to the accounting of plant transactions.
Coordinates activities of the Department with inter-related activities of other Departments/Sections to ensure optimum efficiency and economy.
Assist company consultants in the preparation of reports data needed for the improvement of current costing system.
Conducts time and motion study.
Conducts training of specific guidelines for successful inventory count.
Supervises the conduct of year-end inventory count.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
Ensures proper upkeep/ maintenance of assigned «equipment, e g, computers and peripherals.
Complies with all prescribed policies and procedures of the Company on salty and security.
Adheres to and complies with all the HR policies of the Company.
Performs cashiering function in the absence of cashier.
Performs additional or special assignments that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
with knowledge in SAP-CO is an advantage.
At least 3 Years of Cost Accounting experience.
