JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:
Effectively manages overall accounting operations and ensure sustainability while consistently adding value to the department strategic proposition in support of the organization direction by effectively managing cost, productivity, quality, accuracy and timeline targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reviews and analyzes consolidated financial performance (Profit and Loss), financial position (Balance Sheet) and other supplementary financial information to ensure that timely, accurate and complete financial data is in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) in support of management decision making.
2. Coordinates with external auditor the preparation and finalization of annual audited financial
statements and filing of income tax returns of the company.
3. Manages month-end and year-end closing of books.
4. Ensures that all government requirements are completed accurately and complied with.
5. Analyzes monthly inventory summary and direct materials used, fix asset and other financial report for any discrepancy and deviation. Recommends necessary actions in order to ensure compliance in the accounting standards.
6. Recommends/Formulates action plans that can support the minimization of tax exposure and still
ensure that government compliance is not sacrificed.
7. Establishes internal control and guidelines for accounting transactions.
8. Reviews payroll summary for proper charging of expenses.
9. Ensures compliance to company health, safety and environmental standards.
10. Coordinates and collaborates with other department heads in implementing internal controls,
process and procedures.
11. Manages risks and resolves critical operational issues.
12. Manages key financial indicators of department operations.
13. Develops the potential of team members to maximize their productivity.
14. Maintains organized files and related documents.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:
1. Certified Public Accountant
2. Eight (8) to ten (10) year experience in General Accounting, Audit, Tax & Government compliance and other functions; preferable (2) to five (5) years experiences in managerial capacity.
3. With at least one (1) year work experience in the same industry.
4. Proficient in MS Excel.
5. Possesses strategic mind set with regards to decision making, driving for results and relationship building.
6. Able to perform productively while under pressure.
7. Extremely strong interpersonal skills to communicate change, motivating employees and getting leadership buy-in.
Salary: From Php80,000.00 per month
