Job Title: Accounting Close - Reference Data Analyst
Location: Manila
Corporate Title Analyst
The Accounting Close Reference Data Team supports the entire DB Finance organization (covering all regions), through the validation and implementation of static data requests as aligned with financial data standards, data and hierarchy management. They ensure data integrity with validations and quality checks of all Finance owned static data as utilized for the production of all Financial and Management Reporting. You will be primarily responsible for process ownership & expertise in production activities and engage with direct clients and business partners in the delivery of tasks and escalates issues affecting production. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role.
Your key responsibilities
Govern and Maintain Finance Static data such as General Ledger, Cost Centre, Cost Element and other Sub-ledgers that we support.
Investigates production issues encountered and proposes action plans to address/resolve outstanding issues
Prepare monthly KPI reports
Creates test scripts and performs UAT testing functions and reports findings to project team.
Implements process improvement projects and executes tasks/activities in relation to these projects.
Follows/Completes all governance and compliance requirements (i.e. regular update of SOPs)
Actively participates in cost-saving initiatives
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance-related courses
Experience in quality review or subject matter expertise in the area of finance master/reference data management, financial audit or finance re-engineering gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
Combined analytical and excellent communication skills
A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
Intermediate skills is MS applications and with working knowledge is SQL is a plus
