Position Overview
The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. FX Management function covers risk management & analysis of Cost related foreign currency exposures of in-scope entities globally including implementation of related controls and coordination with different teams to ensure that exposures for sell-off are accurate and FX related risk is minimized. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this function. Your role will help hone your stakeholder management skills as you will have the opportunity to closely interact with Front and Middle Office, Country Finance teams, Operations and other support functions.
Your key responsibilities
Perform various data analysis and preparing FX sell-off reports
Liaising with various stakeholders for issue resolutions & process improvements as FX risk management covers the end-to-end process-from accrual, invoicing, settlement to clearing
Perform Quality Assurance on outputs delivered by the Team; Ensure outputs are accurate, complete consistent and produced on time - in line with the SLA
Timely escalation to Team Lead of potential market, process and reputational risk
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, or Finance, preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
Proven experience in financial reporting preferably gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry
preferably in a financial institution
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal
Knowledgeable in SAP
