The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based.

Your key responsibilities
Member of Entity Close UK Team looking after the Financial Reporting of London Branch
Provide status reports around month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submission to stakeholders
Engage with the internal stakeholders such as Onshore Country Finance, Business Finance and various project teams on issues escalation and support needed
Performs Extended Quality Assurance / V&C on outputs delivered by the team and conduct regular assessment on the reliability of QA checks performed by the Senior Associate
Identify and participate in efficiency and effectiveness improvements via continuous process improvement and implementing global/regional initiatives
Ensure strong control environment by upholding compliance to standards, internal controls and best practices
Execution of operational plans set by the Operations Manager
Escalates highly critical or high risk issues to Operations Manager and responds to stakeholder feedback.
Your skills and experience
Experience in financial / regulatory / statutory reporting or audit
At least intermediate knowledge in MS Applications
Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)
Strong analytical and decision making abilities
Strong control mindset
