Job Title: Accounting Close - Cost Validation and Review
Location: Manila
Corporate Title: Associate
The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. Your role involves cost analysis through performance of financial review, identification of cost drivers, recommend necessary adjustments if any and report generation of various Profit & Loss and balance sheet reports. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this function.
Your key responsibilities
Perform of financial review and identification of cost drivers
Analyze Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reports and communicate the information to people with diverse professional backgrounds
Perform review of month end functions such as review of late adjustment entries with proper root cause analysis performed on operational issues
Provide guidance to the Team by coordinating activities, answering questions and providing support, tracking progress, ensuring feedback and addressing performance problems/issues promptly
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Proven experience in quality assurance from auditing firm, bank shared service, BPO or finance role in related industry
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of SAP, Essbase, Cognos, Ariba on Demand and other ERP systems is an advantage
