Job Description:
The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. Your role will be responsible for cost analysis through performance of financial review, identification of cost drivers, recommend necessary adjustments if any and report generation of various P&L and balance sheet reports. You will also be responsible for providing direction and guidance in managing the Lease Accounting production in which, parts of the responsibilities are capacity planning, management and performance, as well as developing and driving behavioral and technical people development. Your role will help hone your stakeholder management skills as you will have the opportunity to closely interact with senior leaders from various the various locations you will support.

Your key responsibilities
Ensure correctness and timeliness of Lease-related bookings including Depreciation process batch run.
Responsible for the overall review, preparation of commentaries and approval of Month-end Cost Close (MECC) process and Allocation sign off ensuring adherence to MECC governance
Responsible for submissions relating to costs and Lease Accounting and liaising either directly or via oversight with external auditors.
Responsible for managing ad-hoc requests and deliverables for internal & external stakeholders (e.g. financial analysis, local and group strategy, forecasting, planning, capital planning, Tax compliance etc)
Responsible for stakeholder management on cost related items and the like providing appropriate insights and guidance on controls and policy
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or its Business- related equivalents
Cost accounting, cost control and lease accounting experience gained from an Auditing firm, Share Services or BPO industry
Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication
Knowledge of SAP R3/ S4HANA, Essbase ,Cognos, Ariba on Demand and other ERP systems is an advantage
