Job Description
To assist accountants, clients, and auditors with administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping functions. The Accounting Associate will provide accurate, timely, and accessible financial information that will help our team make well-informed financial decisions and optimize resources to achieve Company's mission. This position will own key accounting responsibilities including, but not limited to: accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), expense report processing, and monthly close procedures. This role will report to the Accounting Manager and will work closely with the management team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
At least two years of accounting experience.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Working knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills.
