The Accounting Associate shall be able but not limited to perform the following tasks in relation with Finance/Accounting Department and/or Management's directions.
Prepare reconciliation and validation of Sales on banks.
Recording of financial transactions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash flows, check runs and debt activity and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and assists on regulatory compliance to Government Agencies (BIR, SEC, SSS and etc.).
Prepare and assists on transactions under Franchise Business Segment and Intercompany.
Prepare and assist on account reconciliations by investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare documents/reports to comply with deadlines on payments to be made to suppliers, creditors and service providers.
Assist on customer concerns such as refund, chargebacks and reversals.
Carry out disbursements and bank transactions.
Assist and participate in Sales reconcilliations both cash and credit cards and on account.
Assist on banking transactions and maintenance of relationship to financial institutions.
Prepare accounting data and present results to the management to aid in decision-making and to anticipate future needs.
Prepare daily cash position report and consolidated collection reports.
Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
At least one year of accounting experience;
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Working knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills.
