JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Associate is mainly responsible for reviewing and analyzing all branch and management financial reports submitted for integrity of accounting and business performance reports. The Business Analyst also works in close coordination with the Accounting Department in maintaining pertinent financial records and reports.
KEY ACTIVITIES
1. Conduct weekly branch visits for regular review of transaction records for completeness and accuracy:
• Approve all transactions in the inventory system used to generate Inventory reports;
• Check computation of redemption amounts used in inputs on scorecards;
• Check inputs in the Daily In and Out report of the branches
2. Prepare the templates for excel reports used by branches for Daily Reporting and improve as necessary for easier accounting and accurate management reporting:
3. Prepare various reports on customers from the company database for risk analysis of Compliance and Audit based on agreed Audit Plan.
4. Monthly preparation of management inventory lists per branch for vault turnover
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Keen to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and numerical errors
2. Highly organized
3. Advanced excel skills
4. Ability to work with limited supervision
QUALIFICATION:
EDUCATION: Graduate of a four-year finance or accounting course,
EXPERIENCE: Preferably with experience in any data analytics or accounting-related job for one year. Fresh graduates are considered.
PERMANENT RESIDENCE: Cavite province, should be able to travel around Cavite from Monday to Friday.
