Responsible for assisting in various financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and support for the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain financial data, including invoices, receipts, journal entries, and general ledger entries.
Journal entries preparation for foreign payable payment, dollar purchase, depreciation expenses, amortization, adjustment, interest (income/expenses). Forex gain/loss other currency payment, and collection in USD payment.
Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Bank reconciliation (Peso/Dollar Accounts)
Fixed asset lapsing and amortization scheduling
General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and updating of the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
Master PCF liquidation and replenishment
PCF liquidation encoding and reconciliation
Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation and providing support during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Participation on quarterly inventory count, Inventory recon Quickbooks vs actual count, and review of DR files vs sales invoice.
Vendor and Customer Relations: Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve payment or billing issues and maintain positive relationships.
Creditable withholding tax monitoring (Monitoring of BIR 2307 forms submitted by clients and reconciliation against sales for the month/quarter)
Qualifications
At least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce, Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
With experience in Accounting and Finance Department is preferable.
With knowledge in using any accounting software such as Quick books and SAP.
Highly motivated, articulate, analytic, keen on details and trustworthy.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
