Job Description
Handles BIR dues such as monthly and quarterly taxes and other related matter
Prepares billing for clients & ensure timely processing
Monitoring of accounts receivable and payables
Processing of budget requests & liquidations
Payroll
Documents financial transactions by entering accurate account information
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other related reports
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
Secures financial discrepancies by completing database backups
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
Analyze financial records and reports and make adjustments as needed
Assist and administers on day-to-day financial matters, reports and questions
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
Minimum Qualifications
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Organization skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
