We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multi - tasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistants can expect to assist the Accountant with record keeping, processing, and recording transactions, assisting with audits and performs other task that maybe assigned to her. Should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills.
Accounting Assistant should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel. Should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
• Providing support to the Accounting Department.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data recording, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with customers and suppliers via phone, email, and in-person.
• Issuance of sales invoice and official receipt, monitoring of collection of receivables.
• Recording in sales book and cash receipts book
• Making sure purchase invoice complies with BIR requirements before transactions are processed for payment, issuance of vouchers and checks
• Preparation of time sheet summary, monitoring of vacation and sick leaves
• Assists with audits and resolving discrepancies
Accounting Assistant Requirements:
• Accounting graduate preferably with work experience
• More education, experience, or additional certifications and licenses may be required
• Proficiency with computers and MS office, strong typing skills.
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
