Accounting AssistantColcap Servicing Pty Ltd - Philippine Representative Office

This role sits within the finance function of Columbus Capital. The Manila team provides operational support to Sydney (head office), assisting with the ongoing requirement of the business mainly focused on the monthly accounting requirements and regulatory obligations of the Company. As the business has grown the need for additonal support from the Manila team has grown.
RESPONSIBILITES AND TASKS:
• Monthly production of commission invoices
• Support / assist in the preparation of reconciliations for various entities
• Code and enter accounts payable invoices sent from head office in Sydney into the company's GL
• Maintain trail commission payment process including reconciliations & review / control
• Administer the accounts receivable function
• Provide timely data entry
• Manage daily banking file processes
• Delivery of a high degree of accuracy
• Work with tight deadlines
• Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
• With Accounting software experience is a plus
• With experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting is an advantage
• Confident and articulate, able to engage in conversations and building relationships with clients at the highest level
• Time management and multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure
