Job Descriptions:
Assisting with our quarterly tax projection and annual tax preparation processes.
Leading the compliance management initiative.
Assistanting with responses to any tax notices received by clients.
Attending Monday and Thursday team video calls for client check-in, updates, and questions.
Using Slack and email to communicate with our clients & team throughout the week, providing timely responses to messages.
Attending periodic video calls with our clients to talk with them about their tax strategy, annual returns, and answering their questions.
Updating our Project Management System (Asana) when you have completed your tasks (which are usually done ahead of schedule if not on-time!)
Maintaining a professional, quiet home office where you can focus and be productive!
Conducts the division accounting functions accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company guidelines.
Prepares and processes journal entries, reviews automatic postings for cash, assets, expenses, and inter-company charges, and reconciles designated General Ledger accounts per the company guidelines.
Generates financial reports to quantify operating results and provide information for management decision making.
Processes sales and use tax payments to comply with any federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements.
Compiles and explains designated General Ledger balances at year end in accordance with company guidelines.
Maintains accuracy of asset information and expertise in computer applications.
Works proactively to identify, investigate, and report irregularities within designated area of responsibility.
Conducts training and cross training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.
Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
