Position: Accounting and Tax Manager
The Accounting and Tax (ACT) Manager shall report directly to the Managing Director and shall work together with bright and promising officers and analysts. The ACT Manager shall be involved in overall project management of all work
engagements under the accounting and tax services for clients of Quickstart Inc. The successful candidate for this position should also be able to directly perform all accounting and tax services for clients and thrive in a fast paced, multi-client and multi-cultural environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Will directly work on and will take the lead on -
• Preparation of monthly reporting packages for clients for local books compliant
with Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and Philippine Financial Reporting
Standards (PFRS)
• Tax computation and tax return preparation for all taxes in the Philippines
• Compilation services and other agreed-upon procedures
• Statutory and tax reporting of Quickstart Inc. and its clients
• Maintenance of general ledger of Quickstart Inc. and its clients
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience with Big 4 accounting firms a plus
With excellent verbal and written communication
Experienced in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring a dynamic team including dispute resolution
Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Must have exposure to different industries
