Detailed primary responsibilities
Preparation of monthly reporting packages for clients and local books compliant with Philippine Accounting Standards and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
Provide analysis, explain variances, and identify trends
Research technical accounting guidance and issues and analyze transactions
Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement
Help establish and maintain policies and procedures and execute controls associated with areas of responsibility
Assist with the annual audit process including both the readiness and execution, including preparation of supporting audit schedules
Assist with the AP and AR process
Assist with and/or complete ad hoc projects as requested
Must-have Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent
Positive can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail
Can work with minimal supervision
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
CPA license is preferred but not required
Public accounting or internal auditing experience with Big 4 firms is is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
